An Introduction to Ade Howe - Dog Whisperer

Based in Newbold Verdon, near Leicester, UK, I usually work in the counties of Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, , Staffordshire, South Yorkshire, and the West Midlands, but my work has taken me nationwide. In 2010 I travelled to Norwich in East Anglia, Caernarfon on the Northwest coast of Wales, and as far south as Essex, 130 miles away, and recently to Warrington. One client drove all the way from Harrow, North London to bring their dog to me, and another from York.

I have worked with lots of breeds. German Shepherd , Border Collie, French mastiff, Neopolitan Mastiff, Dobermann Pinscher, Rottweiler, Newfoundland, Chow Chow, Weimaraner, Llewelyn Setter, Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, Basset Hound, Greyhound, Whippet, Miniature Pinscher, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Patterdale Terrier, Airedale Terrier, Lakeland Terrier, Bedlington Terrier, Border Terrier, Glen of Imaal Terrier, Manchester Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Pomeranian, Miniature poodle, Labradoodle, Chihuahua, Basengi, Dachshunds and all manner of mongrels and rescue dogs.

The dog obedience training I offer is rewarding and also fun, helping dog owners to communicate with their pet. I guarantee to put a smile on your face.

I have had people ring me in tears because their beloved dog is causing mayhem and they cannot cope.They cannot believe how quickly their dog can be transformed with the correct directions. The dog finally understands what the owner wants and the owner starts giving the dog what it needs. Most of my techniques are not treat based. I tell the dog what to do and it obeys my command. Meet my Trusty Sidekick, Pip

This is Pip, my 9 year old Border Collie and my partner in dog whispering. Pip shows me by his body language whether a dog is calm, nervous, excited or aggressive. He helps me to relax a dog by his calm and gentle manner.

If you arrange to see me, you will almost certainly meet Pip, my best friend.

In fact, as I write this, Pip is lying at my feet, looking at me, I am trying to resist that pleading look in his eyes, and he's wondering why I am not on the park with him, throwing his frisbee or ball so he can catch it in mid-air. He loves a game of fetch and tug-of-war and enjoys cooling off in the stream no matter what the weather. Six inches of snow and ice on the pond? Pip still cools off in the stream!
